Gary Battistoni was named one of Golf Digest top instructors in the
Northeast for 2005. He was the Western New York PGA
teacher of the year in 1999 and has been recognized
as one of the top instructors in New York State.
Gary gives approximately 2500 lessons per year at
his teaching facility, the Battistoni Golf Center in
Clarence NY. He has taught NYS amateur champions
Kyle Hess and John Gaffney. Many of his junior
students are receiving scholarships to continue
their golf careers in college.
A native of East
Aurora NY Gary was one of the top junior golfers in
the country winning the NYS amateur championship. He
competed in the Porter Cup six times and attended
Bowling Green State on a golf scholarship. He
embarked on a professional career in 1988 - 1990 in
South Africa, and Europe until injury curtailed his
promising career.
